Newlife 0.7.14 has been released.
Early-access Patrons can find it in the creations section here. The changelog is below.
The previous version is now public. You can download it using the links on the right-hand side of the blog. The public version's changelog is here.
I think that saves should be compatible across versions this time, though I haven't tested this and can't make any promises.
For
new players - just use one of the links to the right to get a zipfile
containing Newlife. Once unzipped, you'll see a folder containing .jar
and .exe files. Either one of these will run the game.
For
either version you'll need to have Java installed. A lot of programs
use Java so you might well already have it. If the jar shows up as an
unrecognised file type, then you probably don't. In that case you can
get it from http://www.java.com/.
The
exe should tell you if you don't have the right version on your
computer, but you'll still need to install java to run the game.

This
release adds more content for the "open relationship" situation that was recently added, as well as updating some issues around lesbian relationships.
Major changes & additions:
Added a new weekend event for when the PC is in an open lesbian relationship. This has a few routes that depend on character-type, so not every part will be available in every game.
Updated the pregnancy discussion scene to work with your girlfriend as well as your female friends, as suggested by JulianR.Amazing.
Minor changes:
Reduced the weight for the initiate-oral NPC action in lesbian makeouts.
NPCs who don't much like oral can now end the lesbian cunnilingus scene.
Updated the week planner's messages about friendship/partner statuses to use correct pronouns instead of they/them.
Removed the friendship-status condition for the “help your impregnator friend” event chain.
Made it much more likely for an impregnator friend to choose your girlfriend as his target in this event chain.
Added a random check to NPCs asking the PC to become their girlfriend when she suggests being friends – there's now a 1/3 chance the NPC will not do this even when conditions are met.
Increased the chance of an NPC accepting to be friends and nothing more after asking the PC to become their girlfriend during a befriending attempt.
Bugfixes:
Fixes to some text issues. Thanks to TroupeDev, Zab, Saint Destiny, Sync and AnarChYsT for reporting some of these.
Fixed an issue reported by AnarChYsT where your boyfriend could ask you to try for a baby even when you'd agreed not to have sex until marriage.
Fixed some issues with shyness-cure reported by Klubbly.
Fixed some issues with the hypnotist scene, also reported by Klubbly.
Fixed an issue where the impregnator friend would not try to sleep with your girlfriend if she had the sophisticated character-type.
