Newlife 0.4.26

Hello everyone!

Newlife 0.4.26 has been released. Early-access Patrons can find it in the creations section here. The changelog is below.

The previous version is now public. You can download it using the links on the right-hand side of the blog. The public version's changelog is here.

As usual, saved files & templates from older versions probably won't work with newer ones. 

For new players - just use one of the links to the right to get a zipfile containing Newlife. Once unzipped, you'll see a folder containing .jar and .exe files. Either one of these will run the game. 
For either version you'll need to have Java installed. A lot of programs use Java so you might well already have it. If the jar shows up as an unrecognised file type, then you probably don't. In that case you can get it from http://www.java.com/. 
The exe should tell you if you don't have the right version on your computer, but you'll still need to install java to run the game.

I'm a bit rushed with xmas-stuff so I won't write much that isn't in the changelog. I have received a commissioned scene but I haven't found the time to review it yet - you can expect that in the next release.


Changelog:

Major changes & additions:

• Added the SophisticatedSalesHelp and SpyOnSex scenes written by …? and Rigel.
• The PC can now fake an orgasm during sex if she isn't enjoying herself. Sex will also finish faster now once the PC's partner believes her to have had an orgasm.
• To further the “be annoyed at your sucky lover” theme, added a “be frustrated” action to the male-dominant sex scenes. This appears when the PC has low arousal and a reason to dislike the encounter (Inept lover, small cock for a likes-big PC, disliked pace choice from the NPC) and inflicts an additional penalty for her arousal on top of the original cause.

Minor changes:

• Following a suggestion from Saur, updated the “are you about to get pregnant?” line with an alternative if the PC's partner had lied about her not risking pregnancy from her first time.
• Added a small alternative to the missionary quiet orgasm for “rough” encounters.

• Following a report from エボラちゃん, made the makeout scenes increment the times-unfaithful stat if you bring the man off in them.
• Added a handful of relationship lines to the bar scene.
• Sleazy men will now make a sexual comment when they're buying the PC strong drink in a nightclub with the intent of getting her pissed.
• Updated some penetration text to no longer refer to a small cock going “deep” into the player, as suggested by Saur.
• Renamed the “Take someone to bed” action to “Take a man to bed”, as suggested by OrangeJuice.

Bugfixes:

• Fixes to text issues. Thanks to Saur, OrangeJuice, Saint Destiny and Katie for reporting some of these.
• Fixed a bug with auto-sex reported by Newface where multiple men could end up being flagged as having been your first anal lover.
• Fixed a bug reported by IHayden where your date being unable to face you any more tonight does not actually stop him from facing you a whole lot more.
• Fixed a “plants a kiss on your no panties” issue reported by Katie.
• Fixed some potential boundary issues with the makeout orgasm trigger.
• Fixed a bug reported by Katie where transitioning from a standing to a lying makeout blocked cunnilingus even if you hadn't done it previously in that makeout.
• Fixed an issue reported by Katie where touching yourself in the shower referred to your husband as a “guest” even though you now live together.
• Added some extra boastful text to the “biggest dick” question in the jerk-friend introduction scene where your boyfriend can't help but brag about the size of his tool.
• Fixed an issue reported by Saint Destiny: your partner will no longer refer to you as his husband when telling him you're pregnant - you'd think the pregnancy would have tipped him off!
